The verdict
Choose Framer if you need to start a website now. Dora’s availability remains uncertain, so it is not a current recommendation; that uncertainty does not establish that it has shut down or that Framer outperforms it.
An availability decision, not a current score contest
Framer remains available for building and publishing websites. We cannot confirm whether Dora is still usable, so it is not a current recommendation. Its older scores do not tell you whether you can build and publish a website with it today.
For a website you need to build now, Framer offers an editable visual canvas, CMS, managed publishing, and Agent-assisted 3D work. It has a free plan, but custom domains require a paid site plan and native HTML export for self-hosting is not supported. Wix Harmony is another available option for a business website; compare it with Framer in our current website-builder comparison.
Dora’s uncertain availability is not proof of a specific shutdown date. Existing customers should verify account access, export options, and billing directly before relying on the service for new work.
FAQ
Has Dora officially shut down?
We cannot confirm an official shutdown or whether Dora is still usable. Choose another builder for a new project until its availability is clear.
Why is there no dimension table?
Dora’s older ratings do not show what you can use today, so a side-by-side score would not help you choose a currently available builder.
Does Framer support editable 3D work?
Yes. Framer’s Agent can create editable 3D designs, so you do not need to choose Dora specifically for 3D work.
