The verdict
Choose Framer when visual control, CMS work, and design refinement are priorities. Choose Wix Harmony for a guided business-website workflow, provided its developer restrictions fit your needs. Neither is a substitute for an unrestricted custom app backend.
How to choose
Choose Framer if the website’s design, CMS structure, and visual refinement are central to the project. Choose Wix Harmony if you prefer a guided conversation and integrated business-site workflow with fewer design decisions at the start. Framer’s higher overall score reflects its stronger control, while Harmony can still be the easier fit for a first-time owner.
Check the boundaries before building. Framer does not provide native HTML export for independent hosting. Harmony does not support Velo or custom code, so features available in other Wix editors may not work in Harmony. Both are website choices rather than unrestricted application platforms. Compare the exact paid site features you need, and check Harmony’s official pricing page for your region and any promotions.
